How To Make Your Marketing Stand Out

If you want your business to stand out, your marketing has to stand out. If it doesn’t, you’re going to get lost in the crowd of your competitors, and even if you sell something completely unique and wonderfully innovative, no one’s really going to be able to find you.

This is the important thing to remember. There’s a lot of competition, and the ones in your sector or niche are going to be fighting for the same customers as you. Which is why you have to stand out as much as possible. With that in mind, here are some ways to ensure your marketing stands out for all the right reasons.

Make Videos

If you want to stand out when it comes to your marketing, one great way to do it is to make videos. Although your competitors might be doing the same thing (videos are becoming a hugely important marketing tool, after all), you’ll be able to make yours unique if you do plenty of research and take your time in coming up with the right story.

The key is to ensure the video speaks to your target audience and addresses any pain points they might have. Plus, it should be memorable and have the potential to go viral. Make it with the idea that people will share it in mind, and you’ll get a lot further. It’s a good idea to speak to a video production agency to get the best quality end result possible. You’ll be remembered much more that way, and it will be a good investment.

Include Colour

Colour always has the potential to stand out, and that’s an important part of any marketing. Your content has to catch people’s attention even in a busy place. The last thing you want is for people to just walk past your posters, ignore your leaflets, and skip your videos.

When you’re coming up with your design for whatever marketing technique you want to use, you’ll need to think carefully about colour. Which colours are going to be different from your competition? What will really make an impact on want to advertise? How can you use contrasting colours effectively? What is the main colour you want to use and would that colour be better against a black and white background? Plus, what do the colours you’re using make people feel – each one is different, so choose wisely.

Include Your USP

Your USP (unique selling point) is the thing you do or offer that no one else does. It could be anything at all, but if you want your marketing to stand out, it’s wise to take some time to think about what your USP is. Really lock it down because once you know, you can use it in your marketing and stand out because you’re doing something different.

People want to know that when they’re buying something from a business, they’re going to get something that’s value for money, that will solve a problem, and that will be sold in a friendly, helpful way. So what can you do to reassure them that’s the case? In a perfect world, your USP will be the answer, so think about it and include it in your marketing as much as you can.
